Closer to a milestone in my journey?

Lately I have been painting a lot. I usually like to maintain work on 2 pieces at a time. This is because the layers/glazing technique I usually work with takes time. Plus when I’ve finished what I can with one painting at that point, I don’t want to stop. So it’s nice to have another piece to go to and stay in that moment of creative flow.

Currently, I am working on 4 paintings at at time. I’m not quite sure how that happened, I just recall really wanting to paint and having all these ideas to get out on paper. Now I’m looking at my workspace and thinking of how great it would be to paint all day/night, any time I wanted. Could I be closer to realizing what direction I should take with my art?
